Ukrainian Institute for International Politics together with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and Hanns Seidel Stiftung Ukraine signed a Memorandum of Cooperation
On January 27th Ukrainian Institute for International Politics together with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and Hanns Seidel Stiftung Ukraine signed a Memorandum of Cooperation within the EU Strategy for the Danube Region!
Strengthening of cooperation at the official level is an important indication that we continue our long-term synergy for the development of Ukraine and its image on the international arena even despite the full-scale invasion of the russia.
Andriy Vitrenko, First Deputy of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine thanked for the long-term cooperation in the implementation of projects and activities within the framework of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region and expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation. He said that signing the memorandum will contribute to the approach of Ukrainian society to European standards of understanding democracy, as well as development of sustainable dialogue between European partners, officials and civil society at the national and regional level.
Benjamin Bobbe, regional representative of Hanns Seidel Stiftung Ukraine, noted that the signing of the memorandum is an important result of the long-term cooperation between the three parties. Benjamin Bobbe emphasized the importance of the combination of political and educational components for further work for Ukrainian EU integration, and emphasized the successful Ukrainian EUSDR Presidency. Hanns Seidel Stiftung Ukraine makes an important contribution to the European integration of Ukraine.
Nadija Afanasieva, the director of the Ukrainian Institute for International Politics, noted that Ukrainian EUSDR Presidency as the first non-EU country made an important contribution to the image of Ukraine abroad and gave impetus to further cooperation on the coordination of EUSDR Priority Area 9. Nadija Afanasieva also shared further plans of activities within the framework of PA9 and the synergy of several priority areas of the Strategy with the participation of Ukraine.
The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, with the support of the Ukrainian Institute for International Politics, has been coordinating Priority Area 9 "People and Skills" of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region since 2020. Today we managed to consolidate trilateral cooperation at the official level. We are waiting for fruitful cooperation for the development of Ukraine!
