How Does Cooperation in the Danube Region Facilitate Ukraine’s Integration into the EU?

On December 5, 2024, the IDM Conference: Cooperation & Integration in the Danube Region will take place in Vienna, providing a significant platform to discuss the role of cooperation in the Danube Region and its impact on integration processes. The event will be held in a hybrid format: in-person and online from 17:00 to 20:00 CET.

Key Topics of the Conference
This year’s conference will summarize Austria’s Presidency of the European Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR) and focus on the challenges faced by countries on the path to EU integration, particularly Ukraine, Moldova, and the Western Balkans.

Launch of a New Project
A special highlight of the program will be the presentation of the project “Central Europe and Future EU Enlargement,” aimed at supporting EU integration processes. The project brings together think tanks from the region to create an active network for sharing expertise, fostering mutual understanding, and developing effective solutions.
