High-level representatives and stakeholders from macro-regional strategies and EU officials discussed skills during the EU macro-regional strategies week that took place on April 24-26 in Brussels.
The session 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 was moderated by Nadija Afanasieva, the director of Ukrainian Institute for International Politics and PAC9 member.
What was discussed:
examples of projects and instruments for skills and labour market in macro-regional strategies
policy review from the DG Grow and DG Employment
challenges facing the youth, including unemployment and lack of opportunities for personal and professional development, along with ways of addressing them
activities planned by MRS for 2021-2027 period, with regard to the results and the challenges identified during the previous period
instruments, funding opportunities and policy initiatives connected to the EU Year of Skills 2023
